During Lockdown restrictions whilst our studio is closed, you can still enjoy the fun of pottery painting at home with one of our Paint Pottery at Home Kits. You choose your paint set/s, choose your pottery items and then select your Click and Collect option. If you would like your kit posted out to you, please contact us on 01772 203060 so we can weigh it and advise of the postage cost. 

At Fired 4 U we welcome all ages to come and enjoy painting pottery or creating by hand with clay using different hand building techniques, providing you with fun and relaxation all at the same time for adults and children. Our birthday parties for adults and children are very popular giving you a lovely calm, arty fun time and the creations remind you of the fun you had at the birthday party. These run for about 90 minutes depending on the age of the painters. The Pottery Painting activity is very popular, it is great fun to select a pottery item from our range of mugs, bowls, plates to dragons, boxes, cars, fairies to wine glasses. Then we show you how to use the paints and how to create designs and patterns using our extensive range of tools. Your painting time lasts for up to 2 hours depending on the ages of the painters. You then leave your creations with us to be glazed and fired, returning a week later to collect them. You can also try your hand working with clay and create your own unique creation from scratch, leave it to be fired 4 U, then return to paint it up. This must be pre booked and is suitable for ages 7 years and upwards. It’s all done by hand without a potters wheel and is lots of fun. We also do family or baby hand print plaques and pet paw prints impressed into clay or we can create the prints into silver jewellery. Just bring along baby and your family and we will do the rest for you. Light refreshments are available of hot drinks, muffins and chocolate.

When having a party with us meals can be ordered from the chip shop next door during their opening times or can be brought in from elsewhere. We are running workshops this Autumn creating Christmas pieces using clay or painting direct onto pottery items. Jane gives you a step by step demonstration to follow to help you create the pieces. These workshops need to be pre booked with deposits directly or through our online booking system. We have an online booking system which can be found on our website so you can pick the date and time of your choice for your arty adventure with us!
